Is it just me or do all of you have them days when you can't mix for toffie & cream ?????

For the past 3 Days now I have not been able to put one mix together, and after half an hour on the decks, my head as a spliting headache

Dont know if it's because Im tierd, or just spent far to long on the one's and two's of late. It's really starting to bug me now..... never had this happen to me before

Just wonderd if any of you lot have had this mental head feck at all

a lil toke on a herbal ciggarette usually corrects the situation (yer still not doing too well ,but it suddenly sounds ace....)

Yeah I hate it when I have my off days, especially when recording a mix.

Best advice is try again tomorrow, but before you start, have a shower, (but dont fiddle with yourself lololol), then when feeling fresh n funky, crack a beer open and mix away, works everytime. You can fiddle with yourself afterwards as a reward for doing such a good mix!!!

I have the same problem as you m jaxx i used to dj alot in the clubs and now i seem to have lost it.

i think i went tone deaf 1 night and never regained it but oneday it may just come back.

its mad as fuk coz im sumtimes on the decks at home n nothin seems to go n i end up throwin me shedders at the wall in a hissy fit n then other days everythink will go sweet as a sherbet dip

the thing i put it down 2 is i just try n e think at home just to see how things go n that but when im playin out no matter how shit a session ive had for a day/week etc b 4 i always can pull it out of the bag when it comes to it, i also think ya think more when playin out insted of just goin for whats nearest in the box like i do at home

i agree iche 1 aswel matey that when ya bein recorded it puts ya off a bit coz ya try 2 hard - best thing 2 do is try n record everythink ya do that way u get used to it

eh sweet unzy has been practisin all week a cover version of "its not unusual" hes got it down 2 a t now so hes bringin a mic up next week and were recordin it - i think itl give use lots rainbow remix a run for its money ya shud hear him its hilarious.

Cheers all, glad to know im not alone on this one, Head Feck over now though and working on a blinding mix for the 6th Cornmill doo, cant belive how well it's sounding ( Chilled, Piano filled & top top with a funky cream sauce ) Noise !!!!

Should go ok unless Butty desides to record it Lololol.... I thought it was only me on that one
