I dont know any thing about Happy hardcore, other than i used to listen to stu allen back in 95 on Rock Fm and he used to play some corkers.

I dont like the ones with big fu*k off heavy bass, but the fast piano ones i am into, and having never collected this stuff, can someone tell me the top 20 vinyl to get (i wanna do a cd)

Stuff along the lines of Early bonkers and early Stu Allen (94-97).

Cheers

Dave

I stopped buying happy hardcore about late 1994/ mid 95.....try these out :-

Timespan - Music - RemixRecords

Naughty Naughty 9 (Pride a deeper love over Nookie piano)
(The piano on this about 3/4 way through goes fekkin ballistic!!!!)

Naughty Naughty 8 - I never Felt (Jemm77 cover version - nice)

Dj Vibes - Sing It Loud

Man from U.N.C.L.E (001) - Its Just Begun/PowerClass
(This record totally stonks!)

Dj Red Alert & Mike Slammer - You are the One. (on Slammin Vinyl)

Sensitize - Burn Baby Burn (yes its light my fire cover, lol)

Vibes & Wishdokta - Feels so good

Dj Seduction and Dj Dougal - A better day

(The last three are off a Jumpin n Pumpin 2x12" album from the time, there was about three that came out that were pretty good)

See ya

Sirius.

Yeah, it was actually Q-Tex that did the happy hardcore version too. I know Scott Brown (QTex) did Power Of Love 97, 98 & 2001 which were all happycore mixes. They're on evolution records.

that one is one of the better happy hardcore tunes.very bouncy and fast piano.

stu allan plays this every old skool set he does when playing at vibealite.

try buying one of his tapes.

one you must look out for is:

TRANCEHISTORY - DOO DEY (NEUROBEAT ITALY)

this is just a pure mint tune.it's produced by the same people that made 'da blitz - take my way, soundlab - little faith, cpu - power generator'.
it's more happy hardcore sounding though with a really big piano.the vocal is superb too.doesn't actually mention that it's called 'doo dey' on the label coz all the italian copies are just test pressings.a rare tune but it has been bootlegged, the bootleg was pressed from the mp3 believe it or not.
keep your eye out.
