The Luton Hoo site is easily the best place for an outdoor Tribal Gathering, and that is one reason why we are announcing actually where the venue is (which as you know, Tribal never does!). There will now be more artists, more psychedelic zones, more time (we will be open an extra two hours to compensate for any extra travelling time), but most of all, there will be much more space… This will allow the production to really be taken to the next level, with loads of outdoor sound systems and the whole thing is going to be visually unbelievable.

THERE IS ONE FINAL POINT TO BE MADE ABOUT THIS MOVE. [QUOTE="bucky, post: 381786, member: 1074"] This is an statement taken from the Tribal Gathering Message Board Tribal Gathering will now be returning to its spiritual home of Luton Hoo. This move was not initially, a decision made out of choice, but is now definitely the best thing that could have happened to this event. Obviously, we have read the comments on the board, and are sorry that we had to be quiet up until now… but there were certain things we had to get sorted before we made a statement. One, we had to get all the artists to agree to the move. Now that is done, and even more artists are coming on board (like Derrick Carter, Scratch Perverts, DJ Zinc and more we are still waiting on). Two, we now have full support from the Police, Fire Departments and Council in Luton… This is in marked contrast to the attitude of Leeds City Council… We cannot describe fully what went on, but lets just say another dance music organisation was tampering with a certain influential council member who saw to it that we were not allowed to proceed, despite fully positive support up until that point. When we lost the Leeds site, we were obviously up against it; this event HAS TO HAPPEN… Its about saving peoples lives! Imagine how we would have felt if we had to tell everyone it wasn’t going to happen… For all the people who think that this hasn’t been handled in the right way, let us explain to you why we had to keep everything so hush hush. Following the bizarre incidents in Leeds, we worked on another site.........everything was looking good, but the people who had made things difficult for us in Leeds pulled more dirty tricks here too, and the owner of the site suddenly had a change of heart.
