Nothing to the extreme of the above mentioned but here are a couple that spring to mind...

Paras dropping 'Charles B - Lack of Love' at Camded Palace, London in 1995 in the middle set, Just sounded so mint after not hearing that tune for many years.

Darren Pearce 1995 Cafe De Paris , London. Dropping Brazil in the middle of his set, again a tune I had not heard since 91 and that took me by suprise.

unexpected

I remember haealy droppin oasis wonderwall and michael jacksons man in the mirror during various house sets Bizare :hubba:

I lurrrrrrrrrve curveball tunes in sets  shows that the DJ aint afraid to take risks

Said it before but imo no-one remembers sets which are just back to back anthems like ASHA/Young MC/Awesome 3 etc coz thats just oldskool by numbers... you might as well rename yourself Ratpack & have done with it :naughty:

I always remember sets where summat comes out of the blue n grabs you by the balls & makes you go "Ooooooooooh !!" :D

Most recently John Kelly set @ Hazy was just like this - everyone a pearler :D Richie Havens - Back to my roots, Rebel MC, Don Pablos & the ultimate - Last Rhythm with 'Love is in the air' over the top - chooonage  (still need to get meself that set - Mick/Mart will you have em fer sale on the door ? if so can you remind me on the way out if I'm too :fekked: ;) cheers :D )

but in the middle of everything (a storming progressive house set about 1995), he dropped this...CLICK BELOW!!!

Am I Hearing What I THINK I'm Hearing

at first i thought it was the drugs until i confirmed with a friend next day. i do remember the place ERUPTING tho....

Was out at Neighbourhood and the DJ dropped Smalltown boy, the original last week, and the place went mental.

Really unexpected, went down a storm. Wasn't the best DJ I have heard either, mixing was poo at times, but fair play for this!!

Theres a new version coming out in the US, quite a good builder..........
