Has anyone succesfully paired up a cheapo soundcard with an audigy 2 platinum zs?
I have onboard sound on my mobo but automatically configures its self out when it detects another in a PCI slot (BIOS only allows for auto detect or off settings:S ).
If you have any chance of the make and model the cheaper the better.

Also how do you configure the likes of traktor or the similar with two soundcards and an external mixer? Im trying to picture in my head how its done but just can't LOL.

Any help would be greatfully appriciated:thumbsup:

ive got an onboard soundcard and a shitty old creative one running side by side, just select the one u want as primary in the sounds & devices bit and away you go

traktor 2 doesnt support 2 sound cards unless u got external device so youll have to use traktor dj mixer (which is just traktor 1 i think) and u can use 2 soundcards with that no bother at all, just select em in the options

Cheers for that boys makes sense :D - one last question if I have the front speakers set to output and the rear channels for monitoring, is it possible to route the rear channels only to the headphone socket on my audigy drive bay or am I asking too much lol:thumbsup:
