What are Yours thoughts about em?
To me - they make damn good music but with this masks and whole "we are THE VOICE OF THE UNDERGROUND" attitude (no offence) i just don't know what to think.
Really good music.

they are class. the secretive, political stuff is very gimmicky. deffo gives them an air of cool. Not sure where they get there influence from. Maybe a bit of kraftwerk, maybe some nostalgic Black Panther iconic images and a bit of this and that etc! Whether or not you think that is pretentious, or edgy or just a more covert way of giving them lots of commercial oportunity is a matter of opinion. Maybe not a million miles from what KLF did and Daft Punk etc... But personally I'm certain its all done to give them this aura of ultra hip credibility helping them to stand out from a hotbed of creative talent coming out of the Detroit techno scene? I dunno i just think it looks good at the end of the day... And the music speaks for itself of course

Top label ignoring the political crap that goes with it. They claim to be all about the music which if correct would put it up there with Transmat etc.

Used to make great, innovative music. Final Frontier, Seawolf, Nocturbulous Behaviour/Infra-Red Spectrum & all the drexciya stuff. They've lost it a bit nowadays. Though I've not heard anything in a while other than Rolando remixes for other producers.
