Anyone who has been on record promo mailing lists will no that for every upfront gem you get, you also receive about 6 peices of utter dirge. I was on the mailing lists 95-2002 and have only just got around to having a good clear out. Some of the records I have managed to sell up on the 'bay - one man's sh*t is another man's shinola - however I still have about 350 records that I really do not want. They take up valuable shelf space and they do nothing for your credability when your mates come around and find a stack of cher and shania promos! So my question is - what should I do with all these unwanted slabs? One idea is to split out the 'better' ones (trancey positiva stuff) and sell it as a job lot on ebay, maybe even do the same with the whitney/cher bundles, but to be honest I don't know whether I can actually be 4rsed! Do HTFR still take job lots at 50p/unit? Does anywhere else? Should I just make a lot of frisbees? Should I have it formed into a coffin ready for my 'final set in the sky'? All suggestions or offers grately received! Cheers, Simon List can be found here.
