Open your picture up in photoshop and in the picture frame goto the image tab then click on "scale image" to alter the dimensions then save it.

I'm not usually to bad but like directions they do not always seem to work out as they should :$ I've tried as suggested and I have also searched in forums which as you advised clearly instruct to go to the image menu. I cannot see an Image tab and have looked in various places. Any ideas? I'm using photoshop 3. Not had it long so would have thought it was quite recent.
Any ideas?

is there a 'resize' rather than an 'image scale' in the image tab? That should do it?

There dosn't appear to be an image tab although unbeknown to me one of my attempts from the other day seems to have gone down to 978x803.

I really appreciate your help but I get the impression this is going to become a nightmare for you as now I can 't upload coz it fails and when I get around to doing that my next problem is that I can't seem to add any of the other pictures I have uploaded to me signature. I reckon it best for me to wait for an opportunity for when Milenko, Stee or one othe others can sort it for me and show me next time were all near a PC.

Cheers lads for your help :D

Just upload the image to some webspace an then put that into your sig. I use www.imageshack.us which is free webspace, but they flsuh all the pictures out after a while so don`t get rid of it off your pc and then just re-upload it.

Sorted. Cheers to everyone for their help :D :head:

Just use MS Paint......and the Image Stretch/Scew ratio's......easy peasy.

to kind of paraphrase Rowan Atkinson about the Religious Bill, using Photoshop for image scaling is like using a sledgehammer to crack a wallnut....lol

How come I can use Microsoft Project/power point etc etc at work, but can't upload a bleeding picture!!!!!!!

Just put
at the end of the web address. Try reading this link as well, it might explain things a bit better
