Hi ya, have invested in a Vestax VCI 400, tiz quite a machine, slight prob though and after some advice, Traktor pro 2 is glitching, my lappie has a AMD dual processor and a fair bit o ram, Veastax advise an Intel Core duo processor, are they just pushing a favoured companys gear or is there foundation in the fact it will run better? All i hear is " BUY A MAC", don't want to do that and should be able to get mine running well, advice please, cheers......

Sorry to say that I have had the VCI 300 and VCI 100mkII both of which I sold due to latency issues. Unfortunately neither are for me and now have Pioneer cdj400's with djm400 for messing around digitally with 3x 1200's and 2x cdj800 mkII's as my main set up.

Regarding computer, ran both through Dell xps720h2o which has 3.2 quad core which is overclocked and never had an issue

i have vci 300

i had a toshiba laptop 4gb of ram ..high end laptop not a cheapie, i gave it to my mum and brought a mac, loads better to run the machine, im no pro with the vci but if you ask me it was the best choice, no need to buy new ..go on ebay then just upgrade the ram to 4gb if it aint all ready, you wont have no trouble then..
