ok peeps this aint no oldskool nite, its funky house but feckin hel what n atmosphere its just like hazy dayz, the set out of the club is mint and the peeps r all off it like hazy and just ther eto have a good time, i went on sat and as im not that bang into funky house, but..... i loved it,

well worth a visit for those funky house nuts ;)

am partial to the odd bit of funky house myself ( as long as its bassline and not the cheesy stuff . . )

might have to have a gander at this night soon . . :)

then again could just wait till march when GT's 2nd room will be monthly funky bassline house :) :) :) wwooo hoooo . .

They play the cheesey funky stuff in venus. Most of it is american. Does anyone remember when they played old skool in there and it was called v bar?
Ben when you say bassline house do you mean the stuff they plan at niche?

yeah well along the same lines fella . . the stuff well be playin uses a lot of old skool samples / vocals etc with a big phat funky bassline behind it :) :) goes very well along side old skool hence my decision to have it playin in our other room :) :)

I have quite a bit of bassline and speed garage that i would not mind playing out sometime in the future

How about next timeyour in Manchester you call round to my gaff and i will play you some. Ask woody, butty or recca about my set up and they will laugh 1st and then tell you that there is no way i could record a cd LOL

with a shagged mixer and headphones that only 1 side works with no cushiony bit on either tut tut.

if ya spoke nicely enough to butty and recca i'm sure Bman could record it on his mini disc and u could use rexxys phones:thumbsup: phones: sorted:p
