This person has emailed me today? Is it a hoax? or what? here is the message. I havent run the exe file lol.

Excuse me, mallon101 I have been receiving this email from mallon101@supanet.com for a long time which has had a virus in it. My anti-virus has detected it and cleaned it but it seems that you are unable to keep your computer clean from this virus. I'm starting to get a little tired of getting viruses from your computer and/or email address. If you do not clean your system soon, your ISP (Internet Service Providor) will be contacted and told about how your computer has been mailing me viruses for weeks. If it comes to this, your ISP will most likely shut down your internet until the issue can be resolved. If you want to avoid this, I have included a patch that you can run on your computer that will clean your system of this virus. It is very easy to use and does not require any computer knowledge. So if you want to avoid having futher problems, i suggest you run the attached file (configh.exe) to clean your system. thanks, Geoffrey

In a world of my own
do not run it, reply and ask him what virus you have, 10 - 1 odds the email address will just bounce back to you.

1 they cant do fuck all about you having a virus 2 he cant prove you do have it, it might be someone else who has your email addy in the address book and the virus is masking itself as you.

if he replies with the virus then search google for the said virus and the removal tool alternatively go to www.symantec.com and search on there and run the removal too

if you have it obviously get rid, of not, just email him back tell him you dont have it and the virus is masking itself and that someone else has it but pretending to be from you

NEVER run an exe file from an unknown source :D

good luck

DO NOT RUN THAT .EXE

Just Delete the mail!

All that the mail is saying is trying to trik you into opening that .exe, if you do your fekked, only ever open .exe files from people who you know and trust, If you have a spam fillter on your mail box apply the address its coming from to stop reciving them. If ya aint got a spam fillter, get one from your anti virus people. It may also be worth contacting your ISP and telling them about thease mails and what they have been saying.
