Vision
I didnt mean to cause offence to the bouncy house DJ's, the sets were good and I did enjoy it, I AM a bouncy house fan and go to bouncy house nights on a weekly basis, what I meant by nothing special was...
I could have gone to a dedicated bouncy house night for NYE for a lot less, had space to dance with drinks at reasonable prices.
I paid the extra money to go to the Vision because it was NYE and I wanted something more and somewhere with more than one choice of music, there was 20 of us in our crowd and not all of them like bouncy house, we mainly came to Vision for the Old Skool room - So my dissapointment was paying £30 and only being able to get into the bouncy house room (before 2am) Fair comment I would say?
The bouncy house room was good, it was just a shame there was no room to dance because we were all crammed in there like sardines!
Friends of mine who did get into PPH early and managed to get into the Old Skool Room had a wicked night but they did say there was far too many people in there, inadequate number of toilets and the glass bottles littered all over the place was a nightmare.
As for the stabbing... I was in the corridor at around 3.30ish when a bloke staggered out of the toilets covered in blood and was in a seriously bad way, there was a big commotion and then everyone was then told to make their way out, when we asked a bouncer why it was shutting early (some of us had minibuses not coming for another hour)
we were told that someone had been stabbed.
I was told this by a member of staff so I had no reason to believe it was not true, I dont like malicious gossip anymore than you do.
I have been to many events
like Vision at places like Keel, Milton Keynes, Baguelys etc and I can honestly say I wouldnt go to another event if it was at PPH - That is just my opinion
Maybe Vision should look at holding an event at Keel University, there is adequate space, toilets, FREE parking and decent bar prices.
