Had a superb night, angie brown toilet - sorry but really was - but the mc's, ratpack, kitcher bros, butty and recca awesome (and the rest inbetween but can't remember now cos my head went a bit west) until someone had go spoil it by kicking off and getting the club shut early - there's always one :-/ anyway after a 2 mile trek up the dark windy foresty road we made our way to a couple of parties and a great night was had by all :)

Vision NYE

I thought it was a BIG dissapointment and it certainly wasnt worth £30 - £45

On arrival we were told that we had to PAY for carparking, £2 for a car, £5 for a minibus! - Absolutley scandalous especially when some of us had already forked out £45 for a ticket. This was certainly not advertised.

I arrived at 9.45 and didnt manage to get in until 11.20, it was absolultely rammed [well over capacity] which meant that we couldnt even get into the Old Skool room, which was the only reason I went in the first place (We ended up listening to Ratpack from the queue outside!)

The only room I could get into was the bouncy house room which although it was good it was nothing special considering it was NYE - It just seemed like a normal weekly bouncy house night...

It was well under staffed, security included it was 11.55 by the time I managed to get a drink, which was a complete rip off - £5 for a bottle of wkd!
I know all clubs put drink prices up on NYE but considering we had already paid £30 - 45 a ticket I was not impressed.

There was nobody collecting bottles either, with so many people crammed in like sardines with no room to dance, it was really dangerous with all the bottles on the floor - not to mention the potential for someone to really get hurt if a fight broke out.

With only two toilets for the girls it meant that you spent half the night in the queues for the loo.

The laser show was cancelled out in the gardens because of the weather - I dont understand how the promoters could possibly think it would not rain on NYE??

Finally at 3.30pm we managed to get into the old skool room - but that was probably because all the big names had already been on.... only to be told that the club was finishing early because someone had been stabbed?!

Not surprising really considering there was only a handful of bouncers, ridiculous drink prices, glass bottles littered all over the place and FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE. It was a dissaster waiting to happen.

I certainly wont be going to another event.

There's no special exclusive nye tunes to play ya know. Rest assured ALL the DJs would have played the biggest anthems in their boxes and ALL the Djs on the night are well experienced in bouncy house. TRUE bouncy house fans I've spoke to thought it was a blinder.

Don't believe everything you hear. People always create a bit of gossip when they haven't a clue whats going on. Spreading rumours affect the reputation of a night so its best not to do it. I've looked into this and as far as I'm aware, nobody was stabbed.

Personally, I had a great time there even tho I got off quite early to play in manchester. Everything seemed to be well organised with orderly ques outside and plenty of security presence inside. Lineup was awesome in every room. Hats off to the man like Cam for all the hard work and organisation to make it a success

I didnt mean to cause offence to the bouncy house DJ's, the sets were good and I did enjoy it, I AM a bouncy house fan and go to bouncy house nights on a weekly basis, what I meant by nothing special was...
I could have gone to a dedicated bouncy house night for NYE for a lot less, had space to dance with drinks at reasonable prices.
I paid the extra money to go to the Vision because it was NYE and I wanted something more and somewhere with more than one choice of music, there was 20 of us in our crowd and not all of them like bouncy house, we mainly came to Vision for the Old Skool room - So my dissapointment was paying £30 and only being able to get into the bouncy house room (before 2am) Fair comment I would say?

The bouncy house room was good, it was just a shame there was no room to dance because we were all crammed in there like sardines!

Friends of mine who did get into PPH early and managed to get into the Old Skool Room had a wicked night but they did say there was far too many people in there, inadequate number of toilets and the glass bottles littered all over the place was a nightmare.

As for the stabbing... I was in the corridor at around 3.30ish when a bloke staggered out of the toilets covered in blood and was in a seriously bad way, there was a big commotion and then everyone was then told to make their way out, when we asked a bouncer why it was shutting early (some of us had minibuses not coming for another hour) we were told that someone had been stabbed.

I was told this by a member of staff so I had no reason to believe it was not true, I dont like malicious gossip anymore than you do.

I have been to many events like Vision at places like Keel, Milton Keynes, Baguelys etc and I can honestly say I wouldnt go to another event if it was at PPH - That is just my opinion :(

Maybe Vision should look at holding an event at Keel University, there is adequate space, toilets, FREE parking and decent bar prices.

Vision - NYE

Just Been Reading About Nye At Vision.. There Was A Stabbing Cos I Seen The Guy. As Far As I Am Concerned It Was A Complete Con - Ratpack At The Beginning Of The Night, Come On Guys. Most People Would Have Come To See Ratpack Cos They Are Mint - So To Hear Them While You Were Queuing Up Is Not On!!!! Tunes Were Good Tho - Even Tho I Couldnt Get Into The Old Skool Room. Basically, Becky002 Is Tellin The Truth!!!
