Does anyone remember this club and is it still going? Went to a few old skool nights there and it was pretty good. I'm sure xtc used to play there. Was it anything to do with hypnotic. If anyone knows out about it then let us know

Its called Pure now Easty has different managers now, Ive played there quite a few times in the past.

They dont do Old Skool now tho. They have well established cheese/ritzy nights now. Old peeps downstairs for your pop n shit like that and young uns upstairs for your cheese dance n R&B

They may hire it out tho still.

yep mate i used to work there every weekends night with mikey absolute and guests
xtc did play there a few nights quality nights i think that hypnotic did a few special one ofs not too sure
and mr richard boldrick jones played there to hope this has put you minds at rest

yeah me n a few of me mates went there a few years back...it was sketchy as fook....that was the first time i'd heard young mc n asha and it ripped me head clean off me shoulders

the worst bit of the night was cox the poster said strictly no sportswear so we turned up in jeans shirts n rockport and stuck out like a sore thumb!

Had a few top nights in there when they had House nights on there, an used to go in it when I was still in school n all cos if yer could see over the counter yer could get served booze!

Remember that club over Burger King in Stockport n all, dya remember what it was called Ste?

Used to kick off every night!
