Going on an old fashioned paddle boat called the Kookaburra Queen sipping cocktails and watching the fireworks and waving to all the poor people on the riverside in the free seats (the wall or camp chairs)

Oooooo Diane, that sounds lush!! Well, I had a few options after all. A friend of mine from work got me on the guest list for "Retro". But that would've meant that I would've got stuck at Paul Taylors house for the mashup and I want to spend NYE with me nearest and dearest tbh. Was gonna stay in too, but I quite fancy going out...so I'm off to Joy now...last miniute alterations I kinow. But my bessies will be there and it should be nice. Will be top to catch ol' Nipperino in action too!!!

We were going up to Newcastle to a party but my 1yr old daughter woke up this morning with conjunctavitus (sp?), a cold and a bad cough.

Supposed to be going to a house party........as in, somebodies house not an illegal rave lol.
Some freinds I havent seen almost all year, loads of peeps going. However, Ive got terrible eye ache, headache, either a blocked or streaming nose, sore throat and a swolen inner cheek that makes it hard to close my mouth cos it catches between my teeth........
Plus, I dont like staying over sleeping on the floor with a room full of sweaty men and women pissed out of our faces, and wake up in the morning with hair like BA Baracus, breath like a dogs arse, and doing the whole "Im dead, are you dead" "yeah, Im dead, arrughgh" thing for about 4 hours in awkward silence until I manage to get a lift home........
If I could get a taxi for under 100 quid lol, Id prefer to go, have a few bevvies if I feel upto it, see new year in, get to 2.00 and then fuck off home lol. Nice warm bed, nice quiet lye in, probably with bog roll wedged up my nose and clasping a bottle of Oraldene for the cheek and the sore throat.
Anyhow..... have a good one. As Slade once said "look to the future now, its only just beguuuuuuu-uuuu--uuuuun". Wise indeed. :|
