lucky you ed, in Darlo we couldnt get a reception unless we stood on the house roof with CB arial down our japs eye !!!!!!
(just kidding, we used to drive half way to Sunderland up the A1 till we got a reception then pull over, get stoned and tape the shows.lol)

I lived in whitley bay and used to have to drive around in the car to find a decent reception Usually worth it though, Stevey P and Howey on a monday night was like a comedy show as well as playing some great tunes...

I've got a few of these I'll upload as soon as I buy a tape deck to hook up to my computer.

Oh, and without being picky, Wear FM was in Sunderland, not gateshead (it was the old Sunderland Uni radio).
