Well good luck for the 9th cookie!
I'll tell you all a bit about myself...
My names Tim and I'm 25 next Wednesday. Shit I'm gettin old!
I'm going back to uni next week to start my second year of a degree in Creative Music Technology at the University of Hull - Scarborough Campus. Gonna do my best to get a job DJing this term, there's a few places which have the odd retro dance nights so I'm taking all my records back with me just incase I get lucky! :p

Spent all summer working for Britvic Soft Drinks, out on the wagons delivering Pepsi, Tango and Robinsons etc all over the North West.

I'm currently working in a customer service type place for a brewery where I've been the last couple of years, that's what an English degree does for ya (don't do it kids)

It's really doing my head in now and I'm looking for an escape route, currently tring to get into an IT support job (have applied for something at the moment which I'm waiting to hear about)

Reckon it'll take me a few more years to work out what I want to do... but then I am a relatively young old-skooler as well (24)

I work for the Local Authority as a "training & development officer", (although I hardly ever do any training!). At the moment I'm more involved with designing and implementing our training intranet site, which is okay. When I'm not doing that I'm gathering statistics / preparing presentations and writing reports for senior managers... couple of days a week I can work from home, which is really cool!.

Chav-ville Droylsden, innit!
How interesting is this thread? ;)

Some cool occupations there fellas.

I went self-employed in February, starting my own electrical testing business with my best mate, Kev.

The work's great when you can get it, but we sometimes go WEEKS at a time with fekk all.

We do a lot of work for schools, and they're all on holiday at the moment, which means we're a bit quiet, to say the least!

Getting money out of customers can be pretty interesting too...

I suppose we're not doing too bad for our first 6 months.

Well for a bunch of full time piano headz thers some good jobs out there well done people. Me myself i work for a haulage company sending lorries round britain about 80 in total, pretty stressfull i tell u but they line my pockets with gold so can't complain. Binn doin it for 7 years since i was eighteen and i'm fully qualified in Logistics and transport management and all that bullshit!! In between tho tried my hand at making tunes wi a mate a mine used 2 have a manager and the whole lot. Mostly hiphop stuff. Mate did the rapping i did the scratching and wot not!! Had one released in2 the charts but Timmy Mallet got further than us so it died a death really. Claim 2 fame is that MARTIN SLATTERY of Black Grape and Happy Mondays fame remixed one of the tunes for us and some small record company in London put it on a compilation Album sumwhere!! I fell back in2 the realms of work and my mate carried on writing eventually doin a small tour and some work 4 a south african cable tv channel (He doesn't like 2 admit 2 that!) So thats me if anybody is mildly interested!!! LOL Hutty

Good thread this  (mainly coz I am right nosey bugger ! ;) )

I work for IBM's international leasing arm (we get Customer's come to us for a lease contract/price/contact which they can use cross-border & for Local VAT exemptions (Tax dodge ;) )across Europe).

My job until recently was looking after the Admin Team (essentially getting them to fetch me coffee & loads of flirting - apart from blobstrop week where I get it in the ear day in day out - nowt worse that an office full of premenstrual pyscho killers  walking on egg shells time !).

I've had a new boss recently & she is a bitch from hell & making my life v miserable  :( so currently I'm errrrrm.... reconsidering my options..... & updating my CV...

I'm currently also applying for sponsorship to do a long distance study MBA.... although if it looks like to much graft I might settle for CIMA exam instead.....

My dream job of being fluffer to females on "Dirty Sanchez rides again" remains, as yet, unfulfilled..... :gigolo: ;)
