Im still embarassed that I havent read a book since high school some 10 yeras ago or so. With studies taking time after school had finished, the advent of the Internet and its speed reading inducing effect, I dunno if Id have the patience to read a book ever again. :(. I have lost the art of reading, the pages and letters get all jumbled up and I struggle to follow a straight line without dropping a line if you know what I mean. Very frustrating to even read a few pages, and hard to absorb into anything as its not freeflow reading. I really do struggle to read properly, and its a shame becuase I know Im missing out. Any tips? I think I may have some form of dislexia creeping in , I dunno, my typing is getting bad too with letters going the wrong way around sometimes. If I was to start a stab at reading, what would you recommend as a small starter book? - more advanced than Noddy and the cat in the hat though, lol. Sci Fi would probably be my bag I think, or 'what if' scenario's. Ta Sirius.
