I don't know if i was seduced by the video, the beauty of the lyrics all cryptic and needing picking apart- or the rather sad yet uplifting meloncholy (sp?) of the music itself dedicated to the fantasticness (is that a word? If not it should be!) that is adolecence. The getting drunk off a few mouthfulls of cider, the being stoned for the first time, the whole sneaking the boy you thought you were really honesly going to spend the rest of your life with into the house you were babysitting at for a few (not so) innocent fumblings and breathless promises. For me its the exitment and terror of being a teenager and not yet knowing who you are, that awkwardness yet nonchalance that the lucky bastards have. Youth basically- god i miss it.Anyway, thats my fave.
