Hey peeps, seen this i've found on OGS anyone heard this? Got to be the most expensive House vinyl i've ever seen! Everyone selling it looks dodgy as f@*k, new sellers and all that tripe!

Luna Project, The* - I Wanna Be Free (Remixes) (Part 2) - Discogs Marketplace

Whilst it's on my mind, does anyone know how to rename pasted links like the one above so you can call it what you want (Luna Project - I Wanna Be Free for example).:king:

Lol, now someone said 10000; who the fukk are Sauro & Mancuso????

David Mancuso was an extremely influential DJ in New York in the early 1970's who was famous for "Loft Parties" at his large flat in which he played an eclectic mix of Funk, Soul and Disco. He'd get as many people in there as possible and it became one of the hot tickets of the time to get an invite to one of his parties.

Look up "Loft Classics" on HTFR to get an idea of what he was about, there was also a bootleg 12" series flying about called "Loft Classics" which had some amazing stuff on. Loads of the stuff that later got sampled for house music was an original "Loft Classic".

I guess a signed copy by Mancuso would certainly increase the value of any record, but that price?

Is this really worth £305??

Sasha & John Digweed - Renaissance: The Mix Collection

Not that I would ever, ever sell it, but £305?

Our generations Dark side of the moon if you ask me...

This was re-released recently so the price may have come down now.

While I am here the most expensive record ever is a 7" Northern Soul tune called "DO I LOVE YOU ( INDEED I DO )" by FRANK WILSON. It sold for 15,000 quid a few years ago. There are only 2 copies in existence so don't go searching record shops as you'll NEVER find one!!
