First vinyl: Jeez, this is a difficult one, but I reckon it was 'Adam and the Ants - Kings of the Wild Frontier' :$

First CD: 'Jan Hammer - Crockett's Theme' (I didn't even have a frikkin CD player at the time!) :p

First house/dance on vinyl (not including electro/hip hop): 'Steve 'Silk' Hurley - Jack Your Body'

First house/dance on CD: 'Various - The House Sound of Chicago Volume 1 (Chicago Trax)'. This is probably the oldest CD in my collection, and one of my most treasured. Bought a few since, though. :p

First vinyl: Jive Talkin' by Boogie Box High (talk about embarassment)

First CD: Probably some dodgy 'Now' album

First House/Dance on vinyl: Also Steve Silk Hurley - Jack your Body although mine was the monty house remix which I believe was something to do with Simon Harris

First House/Dance on CD: Can't quite remember the name but it was something like Jungle Tekno with Terminator by metalheads and Origin Unknown - Valley of shadows on it (didn't get a CD player until 93!!!)

He did Bass! How Low Can You Go....
and also made all those Breaks Beats and Scratches records on the music of life label.. apologies for getting anoraky in the chill out room :p

Yep!... I stayed into the Ants for quite some time actually, and own their Greatest Hits CD.... now I know I've definately said too much!... no-one can save me now!!! :$ :$ :$ as long as I don't mention anything about my journey into the dark side of music I'll be fine....

Okay... (I'm gonna regret this in the morning.....)

Alongside my hip-hop phase and before entering my dance phase I took a brief detour into the dark world of Thrash / Death / Funnycore Metal..
namely bands lke "Kreator", "Death", "Sepultura", "Entombed", "Sodom", "Voivod", "Lawnmower Deth", "Spazztic Blur", "Acid Reign", "O.L.D"... etc..

In my defence, I can confirm that I never once wore petunia oil, nor left my (long) hair unwashed, nor made any sacrifices (human or animal) to the dark prince, I was still a good lad, I never once inverted any crosses, I'd just got so bored with Rik Astley and Co!, (I was 14 or 15 at the time!).

There, I've said it..... I'll get mi coat.....

My very first Vinyl Was also "Kings Of The Wild Frontier" also!!:)

I still have it - bit tatty now.

First Dance Vinyl was Afrika Bambata The Soul Sonic Force - Looking For The Perfect Beat

Dunno what me first cd was...

Think me first dancy CD was Soul II Soul - Club Classics Vol 1 - but really cannot remember.

Ok, I might regret saying this, but the first piece of shiny vinyl I bought was Kylie Minogues first album - "Kylie"
First CD was Nirvana - Nevermind
First dance tune on vinyl was BBE - Seven days & one week.
Most recent vinyl purchase was Z100 - Testa Don't Stop
