i reckon that there is no way that u should sod ya mates off as soon as someone comes along, cause it so true that when the relationship is over, they are the ones who will let u cry on their shoulder. i did it wit my ex (partly cause he was a possesive b@stard and wouldnt let me go out it them) and then when it all went pete tong i had absolutely no one in the world!! and it was crap. thing is, its a really hard game to play if all ur mates are single, cause u have to in some way adapt to the new relationship u have taken on. if u agree to b wit somone then u have to make room for them aswell to a point where they feel like they are valued too. u cant jus make them feel like they are a sort of stand in when ur mates are busy, which is easy to do. its so hard to hit the correct balance, cause one of the two is bound to feel left out at times, but as long as its not the same one bein discarded and forgotten all the time then it can work really well!! i mean, there's no harm in spendin time wit both is there? But its so easy to lose either of them because of mis-matched priorities, its not the amount of time spent anyway, its the quality, and as long as u make sure ur new partner feels as valued as ur mates know they are then all is well!! (LOL waffled a bit there :$)
