a friend of mine ( I SWEAR ON ME LIFE) has just been sent the following all too familar text. what i wanna know is there any truth in this statement or is it just a girly cop out. Cause if a bloke said it I know it would be bullshit. but well what do u reckon.....

this is a quote from what she said to him

" U r an amazing person who i believe maybe came at the wrong time. i fell 4 u but constantly let you know that we weren't a unit as i was determined to be independant in ALL my decisions for the first time ever. I'm truly sorry but i guess i knew that I would come to resent you if we
settled down without me ever finding who i am by myself (cliche but true). "

Someone on this board once told me that you can't put a timeline on love and control who you fall in love with and when you do. I think thats 100% correct. Would a girl really jeopardise what may be something amazing just cause it's 'the wrong time' when is the right time?

my poor mate is in pieces :(

Sniffing glue........again!
Sometimes you really do need to be on your own and sort your own life out before you can commit to someone else.

About 4 years ago someone left me for a very similar reason and i couldn't get my head round it at the time but now i fully understand. If he'd stayed he would only have ended up hating me for him not being able to do what he really wanted, which he couldn't have if he'd stayed.

It could possibly be a cop out, but in some cases it's certainly true.

Wow, thats a hard one! I suppose it depends on the circumstances. It would depend on what she meant by 'the wrong time' or should i say what reasons they are that she felt she had to send that text. I believe if someone comes along that you connect with it shouldnt matter, because people like that are hard to find! You should never miss the opportunity as you may never get it again!

honey. my sentiments exactly.

this is what shabba said......

This is weird as it reminds me of my fave/saddest film where the boy is sent away to achieve his goal and does so but never meets a girl like the one he left behind so even know he is successful he is never happy for leaving her behind

I voted the either one.

Either way shes led him up the garden path:( :S

This is a total cop out. The lass in question couldn't face telling him to his face so texts him and then if he replies prolly wont get a reply. If they have any feelings at all even as friends then they would find the balls to say it to his face mate. I am talking from experience fella as you know;)

Not sure about the other person either but whether they is or not thats no way to be dumped

Respect man thats all it is;)
