What's with my mouse pointer?

Ok, I'm using a microsoft wireless optical mouse, and for the last couple of weeks or so the pointer suddenly fucks off to one corner of the screen. It's really annoying, expecially when I'm gaming. Does anyone know what's causing this and what I can do to stop it? Or is it time for a new mouse?

I have had this problem fella. But it was a standard mouse. Its on a works pc so the lass has got used to it now. I thought it was related to how busy the pc was but i think i am wrong.

Have you searched microsoft site. The mouse i have is one of theres so i would expect some sort of faq about it on there.

delete the mouse drivers and reinstall it mate
