Was just wondering what your computer area looks like at home...cos Ive not had mine that long...used to have to trapse to tinternet cafs and the like to get on here (I know dedicated or what !! ;) ) But thanx to peeps off here I now have a setup at home

I have my computer monitor balanced on my tower, and my infared keyboard is balanced on loads of boxes of bikini hair removing cream, and my mouse is resting on a "worldcom" mousemat on top of some cool film vids and I have to sit / lie on my bed (well actually its just a mattress..:S ) to use everything !!! :S  :p :drum: :anorak: hee hee !!

Bet you noone else has a setup like mine !!! :p

Sweet xx

At the office I have a big screen with 2 computers linked to it :p

At home..... 2 pooters.... with 2 screens...... kinda placed at a 90 angle so that I can work on them both..... but I tend to find that I can't find my keyboard or mouse most of the time ( cordless all 4 of them!) SO I tend to trash around my room untill I find the right mouse for the right pooter!!!!!!!!!

BU tI have to say that you beat me!

Got this hyeewj computer desk / office unit from Staples a couple of years back, it's massive!. Keyboard / Mouse / Monitor / Tower all in usual place, with printer to the left, surround speakers mounted all around it etc.

Top shelf has CD's, Manuals, Magazines, work files all in nice n' neat little Ikea storage boxes.

Middle shelves have blank CD's, pens / stationery etc.

It looks very nice n' tidy!.

hehe - well my setup is dominated by my hooooj 21" flatscreen monitor (as butty said 'that's the biggest sodding monitor I've ever seen!) then of course theres my Oversized wacom graphics pad with pen interface which provided endless amusement for Cat when she last visited me, then there's the cambridge 3D sound sattelite speakers with loud-as-you-like subwoofer and tucked away under my desk is my heaviilly modified Dell dual 800 system!

Love it! :D

Well, I defintely prefer Sweets dual-use versatile set-up myself!

Bet you're always neat and tidy too aren't you (in more ways than one)!

Love Cookie xxx

Lol !! I'll reply before grad does !! :p

errrr...no Im not the tidiest of people, but I have an excuse..my room is quite small, I have a lot of stuff, and I have a nightmare from hell flatmate who throws my things away when it suits her, which is why everything is in my room under lock and key...

could do with a bit of a tidy up somewhere else too !!! Been too busy !!!  :afro:

Pointless getting into a war of the setup's....

'Cos my system would win hands down. (ner ner ne ner ner! - he says in childish playground manner!).

Just that Tiggs has the most desirable piece of kit with that 'tablet of his!...

Phil (awaiting a barrage of abuse............)

ROFL!

Well for started I'd never destroy one of my *cough* works of art, over a bit of banter and I'll happilly admit that there are sexier systems than mine out there! I was at a comp. fair recently and saw this stunning neon lit perspex fronted sytem box that I would happily kill for. But the fact remains that I didn't pay a penny for my system and i challenge anyone to find better value for money than that! :D

The other thing I've noticed is that despite all these increases in processor speeds the computers themselves don't really seem to run that much faster, one of my mates just got a 300Mhz processor and has told me that the difference between that and his old P2 system is negligable!

The wacom pad is a top toy though! :D

LOL!... I'd beg to differ about processor speeds mate!. But the real shame is that I *obviously* don't have a life!!!...

I wish I could stop stuffing ££££'s into my PC. I mean c'mon Phil, Neon lightstrips, clear perspex side panels and blue fans?!!! What's going on?!!!...

Answers on a postcard please to the usual address!....
