More filthy records that i've bought from someone's grotty abode or forgotten cellar, then I usually start with 'am Record Cleaner' and a lint free cloth, but for less dirty records that are a bit dusty, I use either a Nagaoka Rolling 152 for lifting loose dirt out of the grooves, or a carbon brush, or a velvet pad, or a combo of any.I've still got an almost full bottle of IPA from years ago, but can't say it's any better than the spray on 'am Record Cleaner' solution, but I can say it's less convenient than the spray on solution, as it comes.</blockquote>
