Sounds like they are taking the piss big time, fix them with a stare that says you are psychotic, take a claw hammer with you if you need to and lick it, whilst twitching slightly, they'll get the idea...
Your in a strong position... demand a day in leui or payment and if they say no then don't come in on Saturday but make sure you tell them beforehand why you are not coming in.... BUT... do make sure you check your contract and look for something that says you are expected to work for nowt before you do anything.
If they fire you then its unfair dismissal and you can make a large claim for alsorts of stress and loss of earnings.

I wouldnt work for nothing girl!! Is there a personnel department where you work?? If so give them a call and see what they say. Sometimes managers take it in their initiative to screw you about as they are on a power trip!!

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theres only 16 of us at our place and 3 of em are external salesmen!!!!
Its not legel for them to make you work extra hours without giving you a day in lieu or paying you over time, if its a shitty firm thought and no ones prepared to stand up to them for the thought of losing there jobs then basically your screwed and the firm will do what they please to there staff including under pay ect ect and the list goes on.
