only just found this forum and can't belive how many
people are still into the old skool.....great to see.
im from stockport and am an old hacienda head
also used to help run a small night at monroes (stockport)
and the zoo (openshaw) with a good m8 of mine....
anyone remember?

Yeah I used to goto Monroes, PigC, Tom Wainright, forget the name of the night

I've also DJ'd there myself a few times as Monroes, (hired it myself) and when it went to Volantes etc etc

The Zoo, I've been there as well ,was the club called Andersons??

I've played there as well but it wasnt very good (a mate hired it a few times)

aye its gettin large n in charge now this place itl only get bigger tho full of sound as a pound mad for it people stick around im sure ul find urself addicted in no time

ps i must have messed summet up sumwhere coz members aint sposed to be able to pick avatars (we got signatures enabled so for the benefit of the 56k'ers i turn avatars off) so when it disapears ya know why :)

hav'ent seen him in ages but belive he's doin well.

great night's they were 300 in the start of the zoo
and nearly knew em all.......

hav'ent been out recently,can you recomed any good
nites on local?

come down courtneys in manc city center mate its a night i do not started long ago i play there every fri n sat unless im playin maximes expect large tunes of the wild kind - see the post in events section for deets apart from that good times in leeds is a good night and maximes is rokkin once again

come n say hello if u manage to make n e im normally the skinny guy who looks 17 starin at the mixer as tho i wanna kill it :axe:

well mate courtneys is more of a yatess sorta pub n so its a mix really of mid age n old (altho theyre pretty good at keepin scallies out n that) its anice place not a full on club n its always a nice atmosphere - slowly gettin better n better week by week which is good :)

maximes is more of the younger end of the scale but there again theyve sorted the place out a lot and it aint like it used to be (full of bad boys)

and good times most of these lot off the board go there so expect to see dozens n dozens of oaps dancin round there zimmers lol :axe:
