Due to unseen circumstances 'www.JUNGLETECHNO.co.uk : The Event / Xtra-C's 25th Birthday' event has been cancelled.

The main reason behind the cancellation was due to Autumn announcing a last minute event featuring a MetalHeadz album tour. Ft Randall Doc Scott etc.. on the 4th November 2005
I personally see no point in trying to compete with Autumn especially as OC’s is only a 2min walk away from the Med Bar. When I first planned the date, I tried to consult with promoters beforehand. Autumn and other promoters had nothing imminent so I preceded making arrangements.

Last time an Oldskool night was held at OC’s with another event being held at the Med Bar it flopped and flopped hard. I felt real bad for the promoters involved seeing all that effort, energy and time gone to waste.
I didn’t really want to cancel the event and I even approached Autumn with the idea of hosting the 2nd arena in the Kitchen, but unfortunately this goes against their music policy and the Med bar's too.
I would not want to jeopardise Autumn’s future at the Med bar especially due to the recent security problems in B’ham and the unstable future of parties in our town.

So,in conclusion I feel it is best to cancel the night. Instead I hope you can all come & join me at Autumn on the 21st Octotber as I’ll be celebrating my 25th birthday then,& we will be ensuring a future for music in our town.

Massive respects and my deepest apologies to all involved, Shauny, Glenn, Luke, Pilgrim, Lenni, Fearless and Man Parris.
