LOL!!!!

I just LOVE it when people give it the old "bargain bin tune!!" and stuff like that!!

I don't particularly want to rise to the bait, but I'm going to have a little nibble..........

Each to their own when it comes to tunes folks!!! I can personally say that there are many tunes that OSA personnel think are fantastic and I would have to agree with them whole heartedly.

HOWEVER, there are many that are complete piles of w*nk and wouldn't get space in my "really shit records bin" .....I wouldn't particularly slag them off, as someone obvioulsly likes them and after all....if we all liked the same stuff, wouldn't the dance music industry be oh so boring???

If someone is willing to pay the money I want for the tune, then fine....if they don't, then I keep the tune...SIMPLE INNIT???

You must remember that I have been a working DJ as opposed to a bedroom collector of tunes and many of my tunes are held very dear to me, as they have good memories attached....that's why I put high prices on them. I have been offered over £500 for quite a few of my tunes, several times over the years and there are quite a few that, even if you added another nought to the offer....you wouldn't get 'em off me!!!!

Anyway....I'm rambling instead of rising, so I'm out of here.
Chill out folks!! (and tossers)

THESE EXPENSIVE ZONE TUNES

HAS ANYONE GOT A LIST OF THESE EXPENSIVE ZONE TUNES....

I GO IN A LOT OF SECOND HAND RECORD SHOPS AND SEE LOADS OF ITALIAN STAMPED VINYL FROM 93/94

PERSONNALLY I WOULD NA PAY A £1 FOR THEM BUT IF THEIRS PEOPLE (OR LOTTERY WINNERS ANYWAY) PREPARED TO PAY £820 FOR MAD CHEESE (I WANT TO TRY YOUR BLOW!!...or whatever it is) AND THIS X-STRESS FOR £250+ I THINK WE NEED A LIST........I'M POTENTIALLY TURN DOWN £1000 OF SALES FOR £4 OF SECOND HAND VINYL

PERSONNALLY I WENT TO THE ZONE ONCE IN ABOUT 94 AND NEVER WENT BACK BUT THE PEOPLE WHERE DEFINETELY INTO IT....I WASN'T BUT HEY...MUSICAL PREFERENCE AND ALL THAT!!!

!

The strange thing to me is that when an older italian tunes goes for good money you dont hear people who are into the 94-95 italian givin an unwanted opion on the matter they just keep quiet!!!!

i know a lass thats in to the older italian 90ish and she said to me that some of her older mates say what you in that s*it cheese for because they only like 88-89 early house, do you see a pattern here!

Errrrmmmm

I dont think there were any Zone bashin posts on this thread (with the exception of one lol !)...

I think people are just expressing their incredulity at the price its going for...

However I do know that you Zone guys have posted previously saying that Italian Zone tunes seemed to be very limited runs (ie. no more than 200 a time) so hence the sky high prices...

But like others have said in this thread we hope the price goes sky high for ya fella & that whoever ends up with it enjoys it (for that price it obviously means alot to them) :D

tuppence worth...

I too am sick of people slaggin tunes off whatever era they come from....the amount of time I've wanted to slate a tune and haven't....

I love the zone stuff and that was my era when clubbing....but think X-Stress is pretty crap, but haven't said so till now, fair enough say you don't like it....

To the people who proper had a go on this thread (and you know who you are).....if you were the person owning one of these tunes....you wouldn't slate it when it made you a huge wad....

And maybe you should start buyin; this stuff.....there's shitloads of money to be made if you put the effort in and you make lots of people happy !!!!

So come on, make an old man very happy and sell me your copy of GOOD 4 US....

tada

Bob there is already a lot of people who dont like the shit , huntin the bargain bins and websites for the tunes to make money ! itss been happening a long time

And i think i justify , bein able slag a single zone tune i dont like off , i was collectin zone from the days of 92 , ONWARDS and have not stopped , but i put a stopage 2 plop , (MAKES ME LAUGH COS I BET NO ONE WANTED THE TUNE TILL SOMEONE SAID WOW THATS A RARE TUNE)
then everyones off thats there favourite tune everyone msnin sayin send me mp3 send me mp3 ,)

it happens , i got tunes worse than thats , but i will admit there are shit and cheese and toss , and probably get a laugh if i played it
but i admit if its toss !!!! and cheese ,

difference is i just grew out of the euro tunes and appreciate me more finer classics now my below 93 italian , but i have shed loads of above 93 , that just gather DUST

Bloody hell.....is it that long since I was on here!!!!!! LOL

I'm not going to start a great debate, but the fact that I actually post this means that it will re-open the thread which contains stuff about something other than an "Old Skool" tune.

I take your point and the football analogy was quite good!

From now on I'll try and stick to posting my 93 and older stuff on here and the 94 and 95 stuff on Italiandance.

By the way.....I sold X-Stress for £315, so not bad for cheesy shite eh?

Right...I'm off to melt my copies of PKA "This Is Eclipse" and Hooligan X "The Flasher"!!!
