yay or nay ?? my new 2nd goodtimes logo

Well peeps , as you may know Goodtimes has been goin 5 years now and weve had the same logo from the start , the one you all see on the front of the flyers etc , now over time Goodtimes now seems to get refered to as GT , so i thought id throw togther summat for this reason. . obviously we will still use the normal one , this will just be used in diff places ( back of flyers / future merchandise were doin later in the year etc ???) the pic is just a ruff plain black and white thing i just done while messin about like (as this is for some black and white banners im gettin made for in the club . . . what do ya think then ppl !! ?? !! should i use this one ??

yeah id bang the swirl before th GT so it doesnt get confused with GOT - If ya start advertisin GOT Times - People might turn up thinkin its a clock shop lol. - Give it a whirl and see what it looks like

mmm ?? tried that but you have the gt logo for bikes were the g and the t are both togther didnt want it to look too much like that one , ill make our star smaller in between em both so its smaller than the letters think that may work better . .

could also try this one not sure if it would look right but how about increasing the size of the swirl a bit and filling it in and doing a white G in the swirl then a black T next to the swirl?

Its okay, but yeah, I suppose it may be confused with GOT. How about merging them together a bit, polarising or fading the swirl logo fainter in the background central about the G.T. letters?. Or a combo of a merge and faint may be best......

Im not up on paintshop so I cant knock up what I mean, lol. I think you know what Im babbling on about though. Perhaps fitting the GT inside the sun logo? Perhaps one G in a swirl and the T in another side by side? Many possibilities.

ere dont apolygise . . lol i am askin after all . . as i have my idea just wanted other ppl ideas as well to see if i can further it any more if theres any ideas that i like innit . .

my aim is to have one that is very simple / yet effective and stands out , (summat youd recognise straight away if you seen it again )not to much over lapping things in it , i think the fact my idea is just in black and very bold , could be off puttin to some . .

am not changin it for our main one , the reason for this one is for many reasons , mainly my plans for future merchandise along with many others , ie say a jacket for instance , the front would carry the new logo and the back the main Goodtimes long one , same with flyers and our new cds im doin , take LIFE for instance they had the text LIFE plus there swirl logo which was ever so simple but yet so effective and well known after time . . .

right had a go at makin it not so plain and made the star a little smaller . . think it looks better than when it did when it was just black and very plain . .

Was having a quick fiddle and did this, dunno if it's of any use (letters look a bit crap round the edges...)
