Well ive had a bit of luck and won a compo claim recently , I decided id treat myself to something to actually mix with rather than keyboard bashing so I bought a pioneer ddj-sx which is the bee's knees of a controller , plugged it into laptop ...only to be told your laptops shit and I don't wanna party with it sooo .....another trip to the shops and ended up with a high spec laptop and a 23"monitor to run it all on !!!
it looks visually impressive but due to years of virtual dj I quickly realised this dj business is tougher than it looks lol ! only had it a few days so still learning the ropes with it but I should be able to play a few on air at least properly and in a few mths ill be able to do this
