Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed those 2 on wax :( I bet they were reel to reel only

Cheers Shooms

You think he's doing it live then instead of from a pre-prepared edit on tape?

Got me thinking... the basis for the track is DEFFO 2 copies of the FK mix... phasing effects & the extension / cutting of the breakdown etc - however listening to the set again he's layering tom toms over the top & these are not the FK mix... BUT he goes from that into his edit of First Choice (which I thought was on reel to reel)... I thought he had 2 decks & a reel to reel so Down to love town I reck is 2 copies on decks with layered tom tom track on tape... & then cuts from that on the 2 decks to reel to reel for First Choice...

There's no segue on First Choice - simply stops Down to love town...pause & then 'Awww shucks'

BTW both copies of Ron's edit of First Choice

First Choice / Dells, The - Ron's Edits #2

Start with a beat & miss out the 'Aww shucks' intro :( Which is wank coz that would've been great for scratching
