Have finally undertaken something I have been meaning to do for years. I am creating a dvd of all my favourite scenes from films. The films don't have to be good on the whole but the scene has be special. I am talking everything from salma hayek pouring whisky down her thighs to anita ekberg jumping in the trevi fountain.... your fave scenes would be much appreciated

I imagine a scene from withnail & I would have to be in there...possibly when Danny comes to the house..I don't know....sounds like a big job you've got on your hands there!

Matt Munro singing "on days like these" and some geezer braying around the Italian alps in a Miura... classic 60's scenes... timeless...
Either that or the start to The Long Good Friday... Bob Hoskins brooding in the back of his roller getting driven around London... brilliant soundtrack (no idea what it is) but watching it you just know the film's gonna be ace...
Or Barbarella... Young, fit Jane Fonda getting her kit off in zero G.

if yer gonna nick a scene from True Romance, it's gotta be the oft paraphrased standoff between Dennis Hopper & Chris Walken... the "you're part eggplant" bit... absolute quality... the barney mentioned earlier in this thread is class too mind... the sound effect they used when Tony Soprano clumps that bird with the baseball bat is just epic.

It's a great film Rocky 4 (IV) - "he is like a piece of iron"!
It's bettered only by Rocky 3 (III).
