A mate of mine's son mentioned last week that some mates of his at school were planning on torching a car for Mischief Night and smashing every window in the bus station. :S

Now this seems a tad extreme to me. When I were a lad it was strategically putting a bit of dogshit on car door handles or egging a few windows.

Was I soft a shit as a kid or is the youth of today beyond redemption :confused:

Parents would soon start teaching their kids discipline if they had to pay for their kids vandalism;)

Saying that, when is Mischief Night?:S I've never heard of it before!:eek:

just sound like some excuse for budding crims to go on the rampage and cause damage to property. :mad: :mad:

gone are the days when a few eggs and some toilet rolls were lobbed into peoples front gardens *sigh* ;)

Giving them an asbo is just like giving them a medal. If their parents paid for the damage instead and they had to then cancel all their Christmas presents and their holidays to pay for the damage then they'll soon get it into perspective:|

BBC North Yorkshire want to sack their researchers. Mischief night is tonight, Oct 30th, the night before Halloween. Always has been, always will be.

Strange how you grow up taking something for granted. I just assumed everywhere had mischief night :p .

Next you'll all be telling me you don't set aside the first weekend in March for three days of hedgehog wangling and sputtocking :thumbsup:
