BBC North Yorkshire want to sack their researchers. Mischief night is tonight, Oct 30th, the night before Halloween. Always has been, always will be.

Nov 4th indeed :naughty:
We never had a set mischief night.

We certainly weren't into torching cars either (is the lad who said it a bit of a bullshitter), we were just after getting a chase. That was always pretty much the aim, it was all good honest fun.

To be honest the lad is only 12 or 13 and was probably trying to sound cool in front of his dads mates. No doubt he was tucked up in bed last night at 8 o'clock after watching his Finding Nemo DVD and a big cuddle from mum.

Been past the bus station this morning (not on purpose - I'm not that sad) and there are no signs of damage. Mind you, Brighouse bus station looks like something the East Germans would have turned down at the best of times :p

Mischief Night??? What?? certainly not something the youth of Manchester has encompassed (unless you count most of the other nights of the year)

I heard (although might not be from a reliable source) that mischief night outdid itself in Liverpool last night. Can't confirm the story though.

Lol, was very nearly arrested on mischief night when I was ALOT yonger, about 12, for putting these ornamental garden mini pillars in the middle of the road so cars had to keep stopping and moving them out of the way. We thought it was hilarious until the next car that came along was a police car!! Cowering behind some wheelie bins we were caught and totally bollocked lolol. Youth eh. Egging teachers houses was best  :naughty: :moonie:

That kinda reminded me of when these little sh1ts off the estate were stood in the middle of the road and whenever a car came they shouted "go go go" and they were running to the pavement pretending they were unravelling a fishing line (or some sort of see through rope)

Every time they did this, the cars stopped and the drivers were suitably p1ssed off to realise there was nowt there and they had, in fact, been conned by some rowdy kids..... lol

Quite clever prank for scallys.... :)
