same here zoom, i was stood right next to the door under the djs tripping out to strawberry fields, as its not the most rocking tune in the world, when a couple of girls came running in, in a pretty shocked state, i poked my head round the door and saw why:| i remember about an hour befor the place filled up with mist or at least thats what i thought at the time, some people have said since that the bizzies did it with smoke bombs but i have my doubts, a mad night indeed and the begining of the end of a special movement. or at least the underground side of it.:(

I've always loved this choon ever since i bought it when it came out. When i held the New Years Eve bash here in Todmorden, i dropped it in my set and Pianoman came running in thanking me for putting it on cos he knew the guys who made it. He says the one lad went abroad to celebrate it's release and got killed in a car crash. Now the other remaining member is one half of Flip and Fill. It's the first time i've used it in a set in a club to be honest and BOY did it sound good! I'd be interested to get hold of that more laid back mix someone previously mentioned!phones:

I agree with you all on this one,yes big choon (Rest in Peace Suddy),reminds me of "Precinct 13 - Listen to your Heartbeat" ,gotta say tho that the piano wins hands down on the Hardcore Uproar each & every time:thumbsup:

LOL Suddi's still v much alive & kicking ;)

I love this tune :D But basically anything that uses that Escape from Precinct 13 B line kicks it for me :D Especially Bomb the Bass - Megablast :head:

Talking of Hardcore Uproar.... flip the artist for the title it round & you have one of the most under rated yet absolutely fantastic & rushy tunes ever... Together - Hardcore Uproar... :D

I might have told you this before but I got there at pretty much the start of Nelson before they had any sound gear in or owt. We were being led from warehouse to warehouse on that ind estate being followed by a squad car. When we got to the right one we went round the back where the offices were, but a load of riot police turned up. The windows of the offices went through from inside though and lads were puching the fuck out of the coppers through the windows. That's some seriously gam fuckers eh! I was right at the front about 3 ft away watching this. The coppers then realised they weren't getting anywhere with those inside and turned on us, so we pegged it round the side. When we got to the front the shutters went up and it was "everyone in".

At the end of the night after the coppers had raided it, me and my mate were by his car and Tony Creft and another lad came up with a big bag and offered us fifty quid to get em to Blackburn. Anyway when we were on our way they opened the bag and showed us the night's takings, or certainly a big chunk of it, it was like a bin bag half full or so. It was a serious amount of cash either way.

Great night!

I'm sure this was done by the same bods who were Rhythm Foundation, or at least one of them.

Chris Thompson is one of em anyways... he also dide the I am the creator tune :)

Sure I read somewhere that it was done in the upstairs of a pub in Blackburn...

Also love the "Every week mate, every week" sample that was taken from that Blackburn rave vid.... & the lad who said it used to introduce DJ's @ Hazy :D

Mad as :D
