The name thingy I'm sure Butty will explain but the colour change isn't actually a change, when you see the posters around town they're printed on yellow paper so it looks yellow and black!

the colours aint changed. the name has as peter hook who owns trademarks etc used to let us use the name in return for wazzin him on now n again.

with so many other hac classics events poppin up he decided to start charging for using the branding. the fee wanted was way more than we could sort and so jus changed the name round.

weve always been evo anyways and so all's well

We'd kind of exhausted the roster of Hac DJ's and for the night to Evolve* (hah! Evo) it has to change and move forwards (christ I sound like a corporate suit or sommat)

they slagged off other peeps HAC nights on the 'official Hacienda 'Hot' night' NYE academy flyer, saying they dont think much of these secord rate cash-ins popping up around town.... *handbags*

... and erm, then they cancelled the NYE night the day before NYE and ruined mine and everyone elses NYE who made the mistake of booking one of their overpriced tickets:naughty: Tw@ts:mad:

evo is gonna be better now anyway i say:thumbsup:
