I've got bronchitis, i woke this mornin at half 4, an wer coughin blood up so I thought it best not 2 go 2 work, an go see the doc, an he's told me i gotta stop smokin:S im really havin a bad day! has any of ya had bronchitis? how long do I av 2 put up wiv it?

fuck i feel for ya hun, i had it a few years back, ive got asthma and i smoke...it all depends on how bad youve got it (how quick you went to the docs) has he give u owt, i had to have sum steroids n sum antibiotics for a week, was coughing up sum orrible stuff it can be nasty, check out this link for sum info on it

i feel worse na i read that, i wer weezin this mornin b4 i coughed the blood up thanks 4 the advice tho, he's given me some horse tablets I think! they're huge, the packaging says "take one, three times a day, with a sugar lump"

I had it When i was working in scotland in 2003...although i was living in a tent at the time. It lasted for a while, but soon cleared up with antibiotics. Hope you feel better soon

awww, youll be reet in no time, stay off the fags as long as ya can tho...or at least till its gone, it will just make you have it longer if you smoke
LOL@ the horse tablets, i had to do 6 steroids a day, they wer horrible, kept gettin paranoid that they would give me a man chin and put hairs on mi chest-lol

plenty of rest, no running or owt like that itll just put strain on yer lungs-not needed, did the doc give you an inhaler to help you breath easier?

I dint get no inhaler betty, he never offered me some patches either, think he wants me 2 go cold turkey, just 2 pro-long the fun hehe, mite as well av a go at stoppin, seein as i wont b able 2 enjoy 1 soon.

yes m8 ive had bronchitis a few yrs back now - my own fault for not getting what could have been a normal cough and cold seen too properly i was coughing so badly i nackered my ribs etc etc - still smoking tho which i dont wanna do and i do intend giving up at some point!

if you can give up now hun do it!!!
