Leveling Volume Solutions??

jus wondering if anybody knows of any decent programs that can level / raise volumes of mp3`s that come from different sources.. as to when making a cd of single tracks....the volume level of all tracks will be the same...:p :p

Which software do you use to burn. Nero 6 has a 'normalise all tracks' option before you burn. I've never tried it but think that's what you're after, maybe?

If your Mp3's are from Vinyl a loud Vinyl pop could be you maximum level so if some of your tunes don't seem to go louder when normalizing have a look at the wav and change the pop to a lower volume by zooming right in just select that area then normalize all the file.....

Wouldn't fuck about with any free shit apps, they usually are just that - shit.

Soundforge is where its at for audio editing and sorting out levels, it has a normalise function, read up a how-to-guide on the web and you'll not look back :thumbsup:

had a quick ratch for some kind of how to...but not havin much luck in findin 1..any links u can chuck my way..much appreciated:p :thumbsup:
