Not one player at Chelsea, one of the richest football clubs in the world, agreed to contribute any of their wages to the 'May Day For Nurses' campaign, where footballers are asked to give a day's wages to hard-up Nurses.

Of all the 556 Premiership players asked to help with the scheme, only 225 contributed.

Are we surprised? Football is dead and has been for a long time.

It's only the fans who keep the dream alive.

they should post a list of who contributed, and name and shame those greedy B*****ds who didnt !!

thing that gets me is if they was to get injured whilst playing and rushed into hospital then they would be needing these nurses. ( i know it wouldnt be a NHS thing but they still will need nurses)

I was just about to say something along the same lines simzzzz..........name them, shame them and then let's see how they get on when they are rushed into hospital with a broken toe nail.....see how the nurses react !!

Minge-bag fookin footballers. Mind......if I was only getting paid £70K per week, I don't know how I'd possibly survive with the loss of a days pay! Oh...the hardship!!

W*NKERS!

They probably have a policy of not giving to stuff like this. .. .because if they give to one. . . . . . they have to give to them all.

Still crap though. Very little you see in football these days makes you feel good about the game.

Sorry on a football downer today. I love the game really.
