edit: ok, the thing is my 'landlord' has been complaining about the speed of the BB since told him id begun uploading to this site and he's asked for me to lay off up and down loading for a week. Does anyone know how much impact uploading a couple of tapes a week will have on a shared between two people 8meg BT homehub line? ANy info would be greatly appreciated - cheers :)

Harri tell him you have stopped up/downloading altogether and I bet he says its speeded up again! ;)

a couple of tapes a week wont have much effect on broadband as they only take a few minutes to d/l and 30-40 mins to up depending on the size of the file (and the speed of your connection).

Try u/l or d/l when he isnt using the PC and he wont notice any difference.


I wouldnt mind hearing
