Thought it was 'ok' - too much dialogue that was pointless which was a shame, he could have edited it down to just 90 mins!

Read a review that said somthing similar tbh...like he's trying a bit too hard (the old tarrantino wit seems to have gone on holiday)

if you like the banter in his films. You like discreet nods to cult films and film making. You like his eclectic soundtracks full of forgotten soul gems and you like badass 70's car chases. The too much dialogue review is becoming a bit of a cliche when it comes to this film. Watch buster keaton films if too much dialogue isn't for you

tons of "pointless" dialogue in all his films.... foot massages? madonna songs? etc. All part of the package. I love it.

No, I honestly liked the dialogue in his other films! The dialogue in his other films however pointless was delivered really well by the likes of Sam Jackson et al. When you've a bunch of victims that you know are going to end up dead, you really don't give a flying fuck what they are talking about

After watching Deathproof It made me want a Dodge Charger again. The 1st time around was from the Vanishing Point

Search for 'Planet Terror' for the 2nd film in the grindhouse series, there's only poor quality copies as far as I've found so far, whereas Death Proof is a dvd rip.
