Excluding paper rounds lol

Talking about paper rounds tho, I delivered the stockport times I think it was called.. Got about 3 quid for posting about 3000 papers and check this out - I was buzzing when I had to deliver leaflets lol got a quid extra!!! wtf is that all about?? They all started gettin dumped in the cut after a bit, thats the leaflets and papers, I reckon I created some big muther truckin wastage with all that paper up the side of the canal embankment:eek:

Anyway, my first job was in kwik save grocers, putting spuds in sacks and lol so as not to get bored, I diversified into putting sprouts in green bags, I then got promoted to a shelf stacker after that:|

Scuses if this has been brought up before, in fact Ive probably brought it up back in the day myself on ere but fk it, heads gone:fekked: :king:

Looking forward to hearing everyones first shit jobs lol:)

oreet huxley!

my first job was trainee pc engineer. sounds swag dont it. it wasnt. it involved being a general joey for anyone in the building. from making brews on demand for everyone to even going outside every 15 mins to put more 20p's into the bosses parking meter. he even bought me a alarm so i could time the 15 mins to perfection. nice :ba:

i used to have a paper round and all. did it every evening after school and got a fiver a week. that was in the days when a fiver could buy you loads and still bag you a bottle of 20/20 on a friday night for down the park

loving this thread....my first job was as a comis chef, but that is prity boaring....but as for the paper round bit lol

I got a job doing a paper round on a sunday, This Fat tight arse guy called Paul use to pick me and 3 other 15 year old addalecents up at 6am on a Sunday morning, and we would deliver the papers in this realy posh part of York called Popperlton for £5. We would work our ass of till 12pm delivering heavy copys of The Times and other Sunday slabs. I was 2mins late one Sunday, and the Twat sacked me. I got my own back though...As it was the 80s back then, and the people on this round where far to rich and lazy to be up at that time in the morning, they would leave the cash on there window ledges. So over the next 3 months, my doddgy uncle and I, would go out on Random Sundays at 4am (So as not to get busted) and rob the money before the fat git got there......we where clearing around £80 for two hours work, and back in bed by 9am.....Now thats what i call a sunday job:D

Did a night shift once for £4 an hour :(

Think my first job was in a clothes shop but one of my first and most memorable jobs was when I did promotions for Walls Sausages and Smokey Joes. I had to go to Wales wearing a sausage hat and hand out samples of sausage in a county fair..to this day I cannot stomach a smokey sausage:|

Never had a job as a kid, so my first job was as a trainee pipe organ builder.

Got loads of cups of tea and cake made for me by the old dears that worked in the churches and was destined to take over the North West side of the firm when I reached 21, but my mates seemed to be having all the craic with the stories they were telling, so I left to work with them:D

Standish
1. I had a paper round and the leaflets used to piss me off.
2. Ashfield House Hotel in Standish - Silver Service Waitress. £3 an hour slave labour, and I was frequently there all day and past midnight. Usually 2am - 3am finish :| :| :|
3. Pizza Hut! Equally gay. Just so you know, every time you order a large pizza with all the trimmings and it costs you about £15....they cost exactly 32p to make
4. New Look - Probs the best part time job I've had. 50%off. Whats best is my evenings are free and the ranges of clothes are getting more tasteful and better quality :D Plus, the grirls are a laugh :)
5. Solicitors Admin - May as well have worked in a call centre
