Recently went to buy a 99p tune off discogs. I then get an instant email saying come round my house I have 1100 never played house tunes. I think ok..... then I get an invoice for ... wait for it.....£5.25. I email back saying you are joking aren't you and he says I charge minimum £5 plus paypal fee so you may as well order another 99p tune. WTF? what and then owe you a tenner. He can jump for his money twat.

def tell him to f*ck off. If he wants to sell you the tune for 99 plus post then fair enough, but all that other bollocks is out of order:$

I think he means if you ordered another tune it would be effectively free..thats how i see it. Some do seem to have a minimum order of £5 in their terms. So basically if his postage was £2.25 +75p additional for sake of argument...if you bought the one tune..as the min order is £5, you'd still only pay the same if you bought 2 x 99p tunes £1.98 + £3

That makes sense. He should have a min order value clearly set out though.

I've not bought anything off 'ogs yet. This is one of the reasons why. I like to know how these sites work before using them. Like ebay I bet there are loads of little snags and problems. :(

do not buy anything off this guy

no it doesn't state a minimum order value

he is a total c**t. Profile does state a minimum of £5 but right at bottom. Designed to rip people off

Dunno about that really...Not sure you can call the guy a **** for that like...If he chooses to have a £5 min order...and he shows that in his policies that up to him i guess..only if he didn't show his postage rates and these other terms would he be not giving you the full picture (but he does). I would say its always worth checking the the terms before buying, cos imo this guy hasn't really acted inappropriately at all. Ed

the last few emails hes sent are quite inappropriate.
What he does do is give his postage rate as £2 per record and then contradicts this at the bottom of the page. So yes it is my fault for not reading right til the bottom but when I read £2 per record I stop reading as I don't believe people could be so petty. I'm a reasonable, generous guy so make your own mind up I guess. I don't however agree that discogs is safer to buy from than ebay

LMFAO, just bought a tune off the same seller and when i checked my pm's i got this...

Hi Tom,

Thanks for picking this one up. To be honest I didn't know how much I should price it, as I haven't even listened to the tune. So I guess the wantlist and comment helped me a bit.

Anyway, I am going to send this via Special Delivery, due to the current backlog of mail after the strike. It is going to cost 5.25 including the mailer.

Also, you can get 10% off if you take any more of my old skool house, I have listed about 800 already over the last week.

I will send you an invoice for this right away.

Many thanks,

I'm not arsed to be honest as the record cost us 50 notes so was gonna ask for it to be sent special delivery anyway as i've had quite a few troubles with royal mail :( Lets just see if it is sent via special delivery :)
