Yeah my mate who had a recedency at the Bishops (DJ Dove) used to hold nights around Inverness so i used to play at them quite often aswell. Cant even mind the name of the nights but they were in conjuction with Jolt Music a record shop he owend in Inverness. But did nights at The Ice Rink, The Drover, Dingwall, The club in Rose Street, The Railway club quite a few places really. Then of course you had the likes of State of Grace and Kick N Hard events, even this shitty little town I live in now (Alness) had a massive hardcore allnighter put on my Mikey B lol

A few memories there, used to know Dove when he had Jolt, wasnt open for long but was a good wee shop.

I used to go raving in Alness, Dance Concept, got the Ultrarave video from back then too which im in, albeit a lotyounger and with less of a beer belly!

Love to hear any old tapes from the Inverness nights State of Grace, Kickinhard or any old flyers from back then so if you can get hold of any then let me know mate!

cheers for the new mix.

just been up loft an went through the tons of tapes i have an i have quite a few from hanger if anyone is interested seen as this thread is about old mixes from scottish clubs,also fubar in stirling an couple from tunnel.loads just need to rip them.try to get them done as soon as i can

Def interested in the more housey stuff from Scottish nights, got most of the Rez etc stuff which went really bad after about 94ish.

got loads but its getting time to rip them then upload them onto the site,found lots of mixes i`d forgot about.will try an get you some uploaded over next week or two.

Absolute star mate. I dont know what happened to my tapes from this night but I had just about all of them. I i remember right was this the one that was I mind one of the tapes having an an alldayer, started at something like 9am and finished 9am the next day?

Does this have the MC on it saying

" Friday the 13th the day of bad luck, take an E and dont give a fuck "

i've just found a Stress Tour at the Rhumba tape from May 94

my mate is moving and he reckons he may have more in his loft from the Rhumba and is going to give me a shout

Steve Bicknell played loads around here, mostly in Kirrie/Forfar

Played hard as nails music compared to most in them days, he was a bit of scruffy looking, greasy hair type if i remember correct?
