BIG-EE Hi everyone,

It BIG E here and i thought i would update on you some news about my radio show!

For those who do not know what my show is about:

8898 is dedicated to dance music from the ACID era of 88 – 98 hence the name of the show!

Every Friday night you can join me LIVE from 8pm-11pm (yes the show has been moved and extended) were I will be giving you a magical tour of the good old days from quadrant park, Shelly’s, The State, Bowlers, Ferraris etc etc and not to forget the DJS who played at the venues and gave us some of the best memories of our lives by banging out that greatest dance track that would stick in your find all the wall home whne the night had finished!

This is an era that will never be forgotten for many of us and my show is dedicated to every DJ, PROMOTER & CLUBBER who experienced there own magical tour in the acid 80s / 90s!

Special Guests on the show:

Last Friday ANDY CARROLL joined us live for a chat. If you missed it don’t worry we will be putting the interview up back online very soon.

This Friday we have the legendary MIKE KNOWLER. He will also be telling you about the quadrant park gig on the 1st of dec 07 held at nation ! Tune in & Text in your questions.

And Friday 30 NOV the one and only JOHN KELLY will be joining me in the studio who will be giveing away two free tickets for the quadrant park gig.

bren they will look exactly how they looked in june at the boat party so i doubt they have aged that much in 5 months
btw i heard of someone i work with that nation has been closed by the police so where is the quadrant park nite being held does any one know ?????

well peeps there has been a change of venue its going to be at the mount plesent student hall so its not at nation now :D

Due to cicumstances we are changing venue for the Quadrant Park Reunion this coming saturday to Mountford Hall,Mount Pleasent L697B(opp catholic cathedral)
This was at very short notice,(just like the first quad reunion had to change venue at the last minute,)but we think we have found a great venue in the city centre that is "safe" and sound.
We will still have the same DJ line up of Mike Knowler,Andy carrol ,james barton and John Kelly together again for the first time in 16 yrs.
We will also have the same high standards of production that you are used too in the Quad events,Lasers,banners,smiley decor,Ballons,CO2 cannons,massive confetti cannons,visuals,CD giveaway's,smiley masks for everyone(it will make a great youtube moment),and much more.we have spared no expense to make this a party to remember
back in the day they tried to stop the party,but we stuck together and they could'nt stop us then...... and if we stick together they wont stop us now.
I hope you can join us.
