Sticking my neck out here...

YouTube - A-HA - The Sun Always Shines On TV(1985)

IMO has everything I love - atmospheric, emotional intro, energy, undulating wobbly b line, great beats (shame about the guitars), good tinkling synth melody, soaring strings & great choral 'aaaaaaaaaaaaah' swelling....

And that mid section string breakdown \o/

Shame it didn't have a dub as I could do without the lead vocals - still can't have everything...

Am I talking shite ?

Disco Outcast
I'd certainly say this was their pinnacle - a full on grandiose 80's effort which was better than "Take On Me" which I always thought sounded like an early Depeche Mode/Howard Jones rip-off. :D

Was covered in '95 by Diva

Have it on an old Essential Mix tape live from the Que Club (Oakie Djing?).. can't remember exactly what I think of it, but think I liked it at the time. :)
