For me either of the first two.

Ronnie Barker wordsmith supreme.

And Morecombe, as Shooms said. . .one of the funniest men ever.

That said, the poll featured some right tripe. . . Les Dennis and Dustin Gee (RIP) and Cannon and Ball????

Rock on Tommy?? More like Fcuk off you annoying little shit!;)

Shooms . . . .. my favourite Sketch ever.

The Trombone Grapefruit and the dancing in the light of the fridge are genius (over used .. . not in this case) moments.

You suspect we are unlikely to see their like again. . . Comedy is sometimes too clever for it's own good these days.

Two silly old men behaving like idiots. . .what simple fun.

In fact I cannot stress enough how important these albums were... :D

Get em sought out & got

Derek & Clive - Come Again

Derek & Clive - Ad Nauseam

Peter Cook & Dudley Moore - Derek And Clive (Live)

DON'T watch the dvd - it is great but sorta ruins the illusion of the albums...

Also get this got :D

Peter Cook / Chris Morris - Why Bother?

Two utter masters at work & the last thing Cook did before snuffing it...

The LA Riots is especially piss funny :D

"I like to think I killed as many blacks as I did whites... the Koreans did very poorly out of the affair..."

Cook wipes the floor with Morriss - which is no mean feat :king:
