Good call

How does that Jesus Loves You tune go?
It's a bit of a slowey (say 112 BPM or summat like that) but it doesn't actually feel like a slowey. It starts off with a woman wailing trad Indian music style, then that stops and the beat kicks in, then superb build up to piano, then different religious chants come in (sounds wierd but it works), and it just keeps building and building - in a word - brilliant.

It was on a mix I did a bit back - I have a rumage to find it.

Anyone else have a partner that resembles a dead whingey toddler demaning 'i need it, i need it' everytime a reminder of one of their wants come sup on someone else's submissions?

Cheers Neil, you made him go all spazzy over a few he 'forgot' about but must/needs to have so badly it has to be right away. Even though yesterday he totally forgot about thses tunes existing. And he promised no more buying this year.

Some shocking entries in the top 100 - some of you have no taste at all :p

King Bee, Young MC & Alison Limerick - you knew they'd be in there just didn't think as many would have voted, instead opted for classier tunes

I think you lot should start compiling 'best of the old skool' compilations as you'd be onto a winner sales wise :D

Here's my 25, tunes that aren't all just one style

orbital - belfast
phuture - we are phuture
joey beltram - energy flash
cool house - rock this party right (martin's boogie man mix)
reese - rock to the beat (hitman mix)
shades of rhythm - sound of eden
sunscreen - perfect motion (boys own mix)
frankie knuckles - your love
high society - untitled
m-i-cara - pianista te quiero
hashim - al-naafiysh (the soul)
rhythim is rhythim - nude photo
sha-lor - i'm in love (conservative version)
a guy called gerald - voodoo ray (gerald's rham on acid remix)
my mine - hypnotic tango (instrumental version)
fallout - the moring after
annette - dream 17 (dream slumber)
orange lemon - dreams of santa anna
the beat club - security (club mix)
mantronix - king of the beats
ecstacy club - jesus loves the acid
the beloved - the sun rising
lost entity - annihilate
revelation - first power (domination dub)
moodswings: works of atreus - the 6 train

Whats with that High Society tune :S

The tune that its fun to hate. Its a Vertigo tune (no disrespect to Vertigo as he broke that tune and some people pretended to hate it) :| No one else could play it so well.
If I heard that playing I would think Vertigo had taken over, but infact its someone else playing it - madness

Re: High Society,

I think it's one of those tunes that grabs you when you are off your head, there's no vocal bits other than the start samples but its a cheeky number for sure and even though the production isn't that good, it's a powerful piano track - deffo one to leave alone acca-wise :D

I was kidding when I said above about people having no taste, hence the :p smiley after it.

It's all about memories - if you relate to a tune a great memory, it'll be why a lot of people have chosen certain tunes...

I'd love to have a look at the submission spreadsheet to see a list of the tunes that didn't make the top 100, as I bet they would be the ones I'd like better :D :hubba:
