a mate did exactly the same just before xmas with some new tunes from juno. anyway he bought a few glass picture frames (the ones where you can stick small posters in) and trapped each record in one of these, closing the glass tight and then stuck them under his skylight so the sun was providing light / warmth etc. Anyway, 2 or three worked and are playable again, and the other two he sent back to juno sayin they were warped when he got em so they sent replacements.

Fleetwood - twinned with Royston Vasey
On the same tip I put them between two flat sheets of wood with paper inner sleeve on, stuck a portable TV on top and then left them in my conservatory in summer (where it gets fookin hot) for a few days.

It worked for me.

I think the flat surface, pressure and heat system is the key.

I am screwed in winter though.

Do NOT heat them again....it fu(ks the groove widths up and it will jump all over the place. Be realy patient...to the extent invest in replacements. Lay them flat seperately under a weight and wait for a few weeks. I left a copy of Model 500 No UFO's totally original...realy realy rare in the back of my old car about 12 years back during summer and completely screwed it up.

Adopted the above including investing in another copy. Original copy now plays fine although still has a slight ridge/bump when spinning.
